Women's Epee 2007-2008 Training Camps [BACK]

2007 National Women’s Epee Winter Camp

December 26-30, 2007

Daily, 9:00am - 3:00pm

The session will include:

·         practice and competitive fencing bouts (at least 3 hours daily)

·         fencing bouts with different missions and tasks

·         fencing tournament (2007 Alliance Winter Cup, December 30)

·         fencing strategies & technique

·         intensive foot work & blade work

·         stretching & coordination exercises

·         general & special fitness exercises

·         fencing videos reviews

What to bring:

lunch (Alliance will provide water and healthy snacks only. A refrigerator and microwave are available for personal use)

small towel

extra T-shirts

complete fencing uniform (including under arm protector, snickers and high socks)

2-3 working weapons and body cords

Price (includes camp T-shirt and healthy snacks):

·         Guests: 

$350 per session (5 days) - no individual lessons with the coach
Individual Lessons are available after the camp hours upon request ($35 per 20-25 minute lesson, $60 per 40-45 minute lesson)
Family discount of 25% off second and up in the same family.
Accommodation with Alliance's hosting families is possible upon request, and depends on availability.

 

Funded athletes  Camp cost + $500 for airfare

·         4 top juniors

·         3 top cadet

Registration:

Enrollment is limited, so please register early. Complete the registration form and bring to the club (or mail it) with a $100 non-refundable deposit or full payment by December 10, 2007 ($25 late fee will apply after this date). Payment is due in full at the first day of the camp.
